Comprised of battalion staff, medics, and the Scout Platoon- this company was the tip of the spear for the BN for planning and executing operations across the area of operations during Operation Iraqi Freedom 06-08. Stationed at Camp Taji, Iraq (north of Baghdad), the company executed numerous counterinsurgency operations during the height of the Iraq war. The motto "DO WORK SON" on the rim of the coin exemplified the grit and dedication of the Soldiers, NCOs, and Officer of the company for the 15 months of the Surge.
