An Army Captain commanded HHC (HAMMER Troop), 1st BCT, 1st Cavalry Division, during OIF 09-10. The commander and first sergeant worked out of Joint Security Station War Eagle. I remember that food resupply at War Eagle was difficult; they did not have the creature comforts of some of the much larger FOBs in Baghdad. The MICO's UAV platoon was located there, and I would visit the platoon to see how the Soldiers were doing and how their missions were going. Crew rest!
