Recorded Account
This was the III Corps and Fort Hood, Texas, Command Sergeant Major Coin. I received this coin post-deployment (OIF II) after returning back to Fort Hood before PCSing to Fort Huachuca, Arizona for the Captain's Career Course. I remember the III Corps CSM was very engaging- he liked confronting company grade officers and correcting them- which I liked. We need more NCOs like him in our Army.
