SOJTF-C J2

This coin represents the Special Operations Joint Task Force- Central (SOJTF-C), the theater special operations command under CENTCOM (Special Operations Command Central, or SOCCENT). Formerly know as Over-the-Horizon Counter Terrorism (OTH-CT), this platform executes operations across the Middle East in support of CENTCOM. The J2 consists of experienced Soldiers, Airmen, Marines, Sailors, and Guardians, along with Army Civilians and contractors, doing the work required to keep our Special Operators safe and informed of the threat. The back of the coin displays the sections of the J2 around the rim and has images of a bear and a dragon, representing the persistent threats from our adversaries, Russia and China.
