I received this coin from the team leader of the ODA that was working with us (2-8 CAV) during the surge in OIF 06-08. They conducted cordon and search raids in our battalion area and would bring back seized evidence from the detainees they brought off the objectives, and used to dump the evidence in our office to go through. We had a good relationship with them, even though they made fun of us and we did the same to them. The team leader would joke that he would "flashbang" my CHU if i didn't stop the trash talk.
