Received this coin from the Commander of the 5th Combat Weather Group when she visited the ARCENT HQs in late 2024/ early 2025. One of her Field Grade USAF Officers was the OIC for the ARCENT Staff Weather Office, which fell under the ARCENT G2. The SWO did an excellent job supporting PATTON'S TRIDENT (JLOTS) - ARCENT's operation in Israel to provide humanitarian aid to the people of the Gaza Strip. Learned a lot about Sea States! This JLOTS was the first floating pier operation executed by the Army and Navy in combat conditions since the Korean War.
