I received this coin from the US Army Central and 3rd Army Commander, LTG Patrick Frank. US ARCENT is located at Shaw Air Force Base, SC, and is the HQs for all conventional US Army Forces in the Middle East. This coin was presented to me during my PCS award ceremony in front of the HQs in May of 2025. From 2023 through 2025, I served as the senior intelligence officer (G2) for ARCENT. In the aftermath of the HAMAS attack against Israel on October 7th, 2023, US ARCENT has been integral in providing support to our allies and partners in the region, to include the deployment of the Contingency Command Post to Israel to support humanitarian aid delivery to the people of the Gaza Strip, during PATTON'S TRIDENT- Joint Logistics Over the Sea (JLOTS). Through the 12 Day War and OPN EPIC FURY, US Army Central and 3rd Army continue to be the tip of the spear for the US Army in the Middle East.
