Received this coin on a BIG 4 HPSCI/SSCI CODEL for a multi-day trip across CENTCOM/ AFRICOM. Did an arrested landing on the USS John C. Stennis off the coast of Bahrain. I will never complain about a hard landing again. Visited 5th Fleet Headquarters in Manama, Bahrain, and stopped in UAE as well. At the end of the trip- spent a few days on the African continent- stopping in South Sudan to visit the UN mission as well as Uganda to see mil-2-mil training with our partners. Got to meet and interact with Dianne Feinstein, Dutch Ruppersberger, and Saxby Chambliss as well as my boss, Mike Rogers.
